I photographed Hannah and her husband, Nick, on the Oregon Coast this fall, and I can’t even begin to describe how breathtaking it is out there. We have beautiful beaches over here on the East Coast, but we have nothing like this. I hope my photos do the Pacific Northwest Coast justice. It could not have been more perfect; I’m so happy with how all of our photos turned out. Before coming here for this session, I’d only really ever seen glimpses of this coast in movies like Twilight (Team Edward here OBVIOUSLY) and The Goonies. Seeing it in real life is amazing; it’s hard to believe it’s even real.
I had the pleasure of meeting Hannah at a workshop I was teaching back in September in NYC – The Babetown Safehouse Workshop. She and I instantly clicked, and I’m SO glad we did! A couple weeks later when I was heading out to Portland to shoot a wedding, I put out a call on Facebook asking for anyone I knew in Oregon to see if anyone wanted to shoot out on the coast. She messaged me that night and the rest is history. She and Nick were so great for this shoot. I often joke that I’m becoming a marriage photographer because so many of my clients these days are married couples. I’m not unhappy at all about that description; married couples fit together so well and their love and comfort with each other is so evident in these photos.
This shoot was a BLAST, and I desperately want to get back to the coast to shoot again. Are you eloping and want to get get married out on the Oregon Coast? MESSAGE ME. I’ll give ya a deal. <3
