GIFs are an amazing way to create interest in your blog posts and clients LOVE them. I’m a huge Harry Potter geek, and I always imagine the GIFs being like the moving photos in Harry Potter. I shoot for GIFs in my sessions CONSTANTLY. They don’t always work out, but often they do. And when they do, it’s magic.
There are many ways to make GIFs, however, all of my GIFs are made in Photoshop using still images that I take during photoshoots. For this class the only requirement is having Photoshop CC 2015 (Version 16.0) or newer. I always recommend using the latest version. I’m currently running CC 2018. I also use Lightroom CC Classic to edit my images before I put them into photoshop to make the GIFs.
