I photographed the wedding of the strikingly beautiful Kiersten and her dashing husband, Shaka, at Terminus 330 in Atlanta, GA. Though not the first time I attended a Jewish wedding, this was my first shot at lead shooting one. Boy, am I hooked. Each detail of their wedding day was so thoughtfully and sweetly executed. It was such an honor to have played the small role in their day that I did.
This wedding inspired me so much. From the paper cranes used in their chuppah (including a single gold crane in memory of Shaka’s grandmother), to the amazing urban feel of the venue and area of town, their passion for the traditions honored in their wedding, and the friends and family that surrounded the couple with so much love and goodwill, I left this wedding feeling so much confirmation that I’m doing exactly what I want to do. (Can we also talk for 1 second about how fabulous Kiersten’s shoes were?!)
Kiersten and Shaka, I wish you both every happiness in life together. Like so many of my clients, I left your wedding ADORING you both and feeling so excited for you. Go run off and have the best life together.
